Sheet Vinyl installation in Winterville, NC

Sheet Vinyl installation is simpler than hardwood, laminate, carpet, or tile installation. In fact, many DIYers opt to do the project themselves. However, we still recommend trusting professionals, as they can ensure success and efficiency throughout the entire installation process while keeping all product warranties intact.

The sheet vinyl installation process

To prepare, you will need to remove any small items from closets and the tops of furniture. We can handle the rest. Our team will empty rooms of furniture and handle removing baseboards if needed. We will also take care of any underlayment, which is another detail we'll discuss beforehand, and ensure your subfloor is completely clean, flat, and smooth.

Depending on the type of sheet vinyl you've chosen, this process will vary. Sheet Vinyl can be self-stick or glue-down, the latter taking more time. You'll need to have someone who is at least 18 years old home to greet the installation team and show them to the work area. Be sure to keep children and pets away from the work area until the job is finished! Afterwards, you'll want to establish proper ventilation, especially if you're sensitive to the smell of chemicals.

Once your sheet vinyl is installed, you'll need to establish a care routine to keep it looking and performing well. While sheet vinyl is scratch-resistant, it isn't indestructible and you'll want to follow a few simple maintenance tips to get the most out of your new flooring.
